By decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the eve of the holidays of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a number of citizens were honoured with state awards for their significant contribution to the socio-economic and cultural and spiritual development of the country, strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, and active public activity.
The honorary title “People’s Artist of Kazakhstan” was awarded to outstanding national cultural figures, theatre and cinema actors D.Akhimov, M.Tokarev and D.Akmolde, opera singers Sh.Abilov and T.Kuzenbaev, famous singers R.Stamgaziev, D.Qudaibergen and kyusha A.Ulkenbaeva.
