A meeting between members of Dimash Qudaibergen’s Spanish fan club and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora took place in Madrid. During the event, participants discussed the artist’s work, his contribution to promoting Kazakh culture, and his role in strengthening cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Spain.
The gathering was organized by Gulnara Gulcha, President of the Kazakh Diaspora in Spain. Among the guests were entrepreneur and co-creator of the Cob House and Audiotheatre Almaty projects, Dilyara Mazhitova, as well as Zharaskhan Kulpiyenov and Aliya Dalabayeva, producers of the Kazakh-Spanish film La Tregua (The Truce).
During the meeting, Spanish Dears shared how they first discovered Dimash’s music and explained why his artistry inspired them to learn more about Kazakhstan’s culture and traditions. Participants exchanged impressions, sang songs accompanied by guitar, and listened together to their favorite artist’s music.
The organizers noted that gatherings like these offer Spanish fans an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of Kazakh culture while providing a space for people brought together by Dimash’s artistry to connect and exchange ideas.
