On October 10–11, Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana is hosting a series of events celebrating the culture and arts of the Aktobe Region.
A special exhibition is dedicated to the artistic career of People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Qudaibergen, who was born in Aktobe.

The Aktobe Culture Days showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage and creative potential. Visitors can enjoy theatrical performances, workshops on traditional crafts, fashion shows, and concerts.

The exhibition dedicated to Dimash features traditional musical instruments from the artist’s personal collection, presented to him by his devoted fans. Among the more recent additions is a Bangladeshi mandolin gifted to Dimash during his participation in a humanitarian mission as a UN Global Goodwill Ambassador.

One of the exhibition’s most treasured items is Dimash’s personal dombra, a gift from his grandfather, Qudaibergen Ata, who nurtured his grandson’s love for traditional music from an early age.
The exhibition also features portraits of the singer lovingly created by his Dears. Each artwork captures a memorable moment in the artist’s connection with his audience.
Reflecting the diversity of Dimash’s artistry, the exhibition showcases his stage costumes, each representing a different style and chapter of his career.

The dark green suit recalls Dimash’s very first performance on Singer in 2017, as well as a touching moment at his 2023 concert in Hong Kong, when he once again took the stage to perform “S.O.S.” wearing the iconic outfit that had helped introduce him to audiences around the world.
The Stranger tour, which took Dimash to numerous cities and countries, is represented through several striking costumes. These range from the white tailcoat and rock-inspired leather frock coat with traditional Kazakh elements, created for the tour’s opening concert in Almaty in 2022, to the vibrant, regal ensemble in which Dimash opened his concerts in other cities.

Dimash’s grandmother, Miua Nizamutdinova, also visited the exhibition, showing her support for the culture and traditions of her home region.
