Dimash Qudaibergen Launches International Project in Partnership with Chinese Hunan Broadcasting System

On September 10, filming will begin in Kazakhstan for a large-scale music reality show, with Dimash Qudaibergen serving as the show’s executive producer. The project is being developed in collaboration with the Chinese Hunan Broadcasting System.
Dimash Qudaibergen Launches International Project in Partnership with Chinese Hunan Broadcasting SystemFor Dimash, this marks a symbolic return: nearly ten years ago, his international recognition began with his participation in the show Singer on Hunan TV. Now, he takes on a new role as the initiator and producer of an international project.

“This project will open a new chapter in cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. For me, it is important to showcase the richness of our country to the world – its music, nature, and hospitality. We will bring together artists from different countries so that music can once again prove it knows no borders,” said Dimash Qudaibergen.

Music and a Journey Across Kazakhstan

Participants, including performers from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Malaysia, and Serbia, will embark on a creative musical journey through the country’s picturesque regions.

Filming will take place in Astana and Almaty, as well as in the Almaty, Akmola, Turkestan, and Mangystau regions. The final stage of the reality show will be held in the capital, Astana. Key locations include Charyn Canyon, Bozzhira Tract, Lake Kobyetuz, and Sayram-Ugam National Park.

The show is scheduled to air on Hunan TV, reaching over 210 million viewers and netizens daily via broadcast and the digital platform Mango TV.

The project comes at a time of growing Chinese tourist interest in Kazakhstan, especially following the introduction of visa-free travel between the two countries. Choosing Kazakhstan as the main filming location highlights its appeal to travelers and opens new opportunities for promoting national destinations in the world’s largest tourism market.

Organizational support is provided by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Kazakh Tourism and regional administrations.
