On May 6, 2025, Dimash Qudaibergen took part in a cultural presentation showcasing the heritage of his homeland to a delegation from Vietnam – a friendly nation with steadily expanding ties to Kazakhstan across various areas and sectors.

The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev.

At the renowned Astana Opera, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Qudaibergen, accompanied by a group of virtuoso musicians, delivered a modern interpretation of authentic Kazakh culture.

The ceremonial event followed by the English-language piece Stranger, highlighted by the ancient kobyz played by Olzhas Qurmanbek. The performance concluded with the iconic Adai kui, in which Dimash, alongside Yernat Nauryz and Temirlan Olzhabai, skillfully showcased the limitless expressive power of Kazakhstan’s most beloved instrument — the dombra.
