Dimash Qudaibergen Took Part in the Reopening Ceremony of the Kazakh Hall at the Palace of Nations in Geneva“Your Excellencies, honored guests.

Thank you for being in this beautiful Kazakh Room, in the heart of the United Nations in Geneva. To stand here, in a room that carries the name of my country, on the day I receive such honours, is a great privilege.

I am honored to represent Kazakhstan and to serve as Global Goodwill Ambassador of the International Organization for Migration, alongside my role as Goodwill Ambassador of my country.

Music is my power, and it speaks a language everyone understands without words. My fans – my Dears – are the most beautiful family on earth. They come from all continents to my concerts, learn Kazakh songs, play our traditional instruments, and visit Kazakhstan. They don’t just listen to my music – they open their hearts to my country. And their love and dedication inspire me to share more than just music.

In Kazakhstan, we believe that talking is always better than silence, and kindness is always stronger than fear. That is the message I want to carry to the world as Goodwill Ambassador: peace, love, respect, openness. In a few minutes you will see a short film called “Kieli Meken” – Sacred Land. It shows the endless beauty of my homeland. I hope it will touch your hearts the way it touches mine every single time.

Being here today in the Kazakh Room of the United Nations, among friends, diplomats, and my Dears, I want to say: let’s keep choosing kindness and listening to each other. I will keep singing — about love, peace, my beloved country, and the one sky that belongs to us all. Rahmet, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Let’s continue inspiring the world together.”

This landmark complex, a remarkable example of twentieth-century architecture, is situated in the beautiful Ariana Park.

The Palace of Nations is one of the world’s largest diplomatic conference centers, hosting around 8,000 meetings every year. Most of its conference rooms belong to the original Palace of Nations, constructed in the 1930s.

The “Kazakhstan” Hall at the Palace of Nations was inaugurated in 2013 to mark the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s accession to the United Nations.
