As a birthday gift ahead of Dimash Qudaibergen’s upcoming birthday and in support of his humanitarian work, a group of Chinese Dears donated more than USD 2,000 to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
In addition, Dimash’s fans from China donated 26,760 yuan (approximately USD 3,950) to the RHR Shanghai Adoption Home shelter for homeless cats and dogs in honor of the artist’s 32nd birthday.
RHR Shanghai Adoption Home is a non-profit rescue organization for stray and abused cats and dogs based in Shanghai. Founded in 2012, the organization promotes the RHR concept – Rescue, Healing, and Rehoming. Since its establishment, it has rescued more than 4,000 animals, nearly 2,000 of which have found new homes, while more than 250 animals are still under its care awaiting adoption.
The organization’s work is supported through the founder’s personal savings, part-time volunteers, and donations. It raises funds by selling charity calendars and releasing special charity merchandise in collaboration with various brands. The shelter also organizes offline events such as the “Love and Home” Adoption Day and the “Power of the Cat Heart” Adoption Day.
