Instrumental duo Temirlan and Ernat won the grand prize at the Open Italy 2023 music competition

The prestigious Open Italy 2023 music competition was held in Pesaro, Italy, on 23-25 April. The Kazakh instrumental duo of Temirlan and Ernat captivated the jury and the audience with their performance of the well-known kyuis Adai, Korogly, Alkissa and a work by Olzhas Suleimenov West.

“The soloists of Kazakh koncert travelled to Italy with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, and in the end lived up to their expectations. The event, held annually in the city of Pesaro, brought together contestants from 24 countries, among which the Kazakhstani duo was recognised as the best,” said Askhat Oralov, Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
