Following Dimash Qudaibergen’s first concert in Poland, which launched his new DIMENSIONS world tour, the artist’s parents, Kanat and Svetlana Aitbayev, visited Radio Dimash for an interview with the station’s team.

During the conversation, they shared memories of Dimash’s childhood, spoke about the warm welcome they received in Poland and reflected on the concert. The new show, presented on October 18 at TAURON Arena in Kraków, marked a long-awaited meeting between the artist and fans who had travelled from around the world.

Radio Dimash has been introducing listeners to the Kazakh artist’s music for six years. The station began broadcasting in August 2020, an initiative of the Polish fan club Dimash Kudaibergen Fanklub Polska. Created through the enthusiasm and dedication of Dears, the project attracted listeners from its earliest months, reaching audiences not only in Poland but also across Europe, the Americas and Australia.

Dimash’s music has also become a gateway for listeners to discover his homeland. Alongside his songs, the station broadcasts features on Kazakhstan’s culture and traditions. In this way, an appreciation for one artist’s work is helping listeners discover an entire country.
