Dimash’s fans in Mexico have once again caught the attention of local media with a creative campaign. During a special Lucha Libre event, the fans brought the flag of Kazakhstan and masks featuring the initials DQ, while also introducing visitors to Dimash and his upcoming DIMENSIONS tour.
Mexican Dears continue to find creative ways to introduce new audiences to Dimash’s music. This time, members of the Mexican fan club attended a special event dedicated to Lucha Libre, one of Mexico’s most recognizable cultural traditions.
Lucha Libre holds a special place in Mexican culture. This form of professional wrestling is known for its colorful masks, spectacular acrobatics and long-standing family traditions. In 2018, Mexican Lucha Libre was recognized as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mexico City.
During the event, which explored the history and cultural roots of Mexican Lucha Libre, Dimash’s fans stood out with their distinctive accessories. They brought the flag of Kazakhstan and masks featuring the initials DQ in honor of the artist.
The creative campaign by the Mexican Dears caught the attention of local media. A video featuring the participants was shared on the social media channels of Televisa Espectáculos, one of Mexico’s well-known entertainment media outlets. The campaign also received television coverage: according to members of the fan club, a report about the initiative was broadcast on ADN 40, a news channel belonging to Mexican media group TV Azteca.
Dimash’s upcoming concert in Mexico will be part of his DIMENSIONS world tour.
