For many years, Kazakhstan’s baby diaper market was shaped almost entirely by imported brands. While widely available, these products often offered one-size-fits-all solutions that failed to reflect the country’s climate, family lifestyles, and the real needs of children.
Altyn Bala was created as an alternative — a brand born in Kazakhstan, grounded in local realities, and built on a deep respect for family values.
The Story Behind the Brand
The story of Altyn Bala began with the birth of a child.
When Bayansulu Orazalieva welcomed her long-awaited son — her “altyn bala,” meaning “precious child” — she faced a simple yet important question:
Why, in a country where family is held in such high regard and so many children are growing up, is there still no locally produced, high-quality diaper brand?
That question became the starting point. After extensive preparation, research, and technology testing, Altyn Bala diaper production officially launched in Kazakhstan in January 2023 — a brand created by a mother, for mothers, and for children.
Today, Altyn Bala stands as an example of how personal maternal responsibility can grow into a sustainable business with a social mission, caring for thousands of families across the country.

Technology and Quality
At the core of Altyn Bala diapers are modern technologies and internationally recognized quality standards. The guiding principle behind product development is simple:
If a product is not suitable for our own child, it should never reach the market.
An ultra-thin absorbent SAP layer combined with cellulose evenly distributes moisture and locks it in, keeping babies dry for up to 10–12 hours. The breathable structure helps reduce the risk of diaper rash, while the anatomical fit and elastic side panels provide comfort without pressure or friction.
Triple leak-guard barriers ensure protection during active movement and sleep. The hypoallergenic inner layer — free from fragrances, dyes, and latex — is suitable even for sensitive skin. A wetness indicator helps parents know when it’s time for a change.
Every production batch undergoes multi-stage quality control, from raw material inspection to final technical audits.

Designed for Kazakhstani Families
Today, more than 240 diaper brands are available on the market, most of them imported. Altyn Bala is the only brand developed specifically with Kazakhstan’s living conditions in mind — including a dry climate, sharp temperature changes, heavy winter clothing, high child activity levels, and long nighttime sleep.
The diaper’s construction, materials, and absorbency levels are carefully adapted to these realities, making Altyn Bala a practical and reliable choice for everyday family life in Kazakhstan.
Pure Composition and Safety
Altyn Bala diapers are made exclusively from certified, hypoallergenic materials sourced from Japan, South Korea, and the United States. They contain no fragrances, perfumes, latex, parabens, or harsh chemical additives.
All raw materials undergo laboratory testing, pH and microbiological analysis, and dermatological trials, including testing on newborn skin.
“For us, a diaper is not just a product. It is something that touches a child’s skin 24 hours a day, which is why we eliminate anything that could cause irritation, allergies, or discomfort.
We believe the first scent surrounding a baby should be the scent of home, cleanliness, and maternal love — not chemical fragrances,”
explain the brand’s founders.

Social Mission and Growth
Social responsibility is an integral part of Altyn Bala’s philosophy. The company supports maternity hospitals, collaborates with charitable foundations, participates in the Ansagan Sabi project, assists large families and parents of children with special needs, and develops educational initiatives for mothers.
Today, the brand is expanding production and preparing to enter international markets, including Central Asia and the Middle East, with the ambition of presenting a world-class product made in Kazakhstan.
“Every element of the brand — from design to communication — reflects one core idea:
a child is an amanat, a sacred trust, and everything that surrounds them should be created with love and dignity,”
says Bayansulu Orazalieva.
