Sixty copies of Sheksiz Muzyka (Infinite Music), published by Almaty Kitap, have been delivered from Almaty to Mexico for the local community of Dimash Qudaibergen fans. On August 29, the books were officially presented to Mexican Dears at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mexico.

The project to bring the publication to Mexico brought together Dimash Qudaibergen’s Mexican fans, Almatykitap and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mexico. Organizing the order and delivery took several months.

Interest in the book among Mexican Dears emerged soon after its publication. To place an order directly with the publisher, representatives of the community reached out to Aliya Zharkeyeva of Dimash KaragandaRegion, who helped establish contact with Almatykitap.

The order was subsequently coordinated with Anna Timonina, Commercial Director of Almatykitap. The next challenge was transporting nearly 60 copies from Almaty to Mexico. With each book weighing approximately three kilograms, shipping such a large quantity presented a separate logistical challenge.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mexico provided significant assistance with the transportation process. Embassy personnel received the books from the publisher in Almaty, facilitated their transportation to Mexico and arranged their subsequent handover to buyers in Mexico City. Embassy Counselor Yerlan Kubashev and his wife, Takmina Kubasheva, also contributed to the process.

A Gathering at the Embassy of Kazakhstan

On August 29, the books were handed over to the Mexican fans at a gathering attended by Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mexico Almurat Turganbekov, Embassy personnel, Yerlan Kubashev and Takmina Kubasheva, as well as representatives of the Mexican Dears community.

Addressing the fans in Spanish, Ambassador Almurat Turganbekov expressed his appreciation for their interest in Dimash Qudaibergen and Kazakhstan. He also highlighted the cooperation between the Embassy and the Mexican Dears and spoke about joint initiatives planned in connection with the artist’s upcoming concerts.

In November, Dimash is scheduled to perform in four Mexican cities – Mexico City, Mérida, Monterrey and Guadalajara. Fans from other Latin American countries are also expected to travel to Mexico for the concerts.

For those attending the gathering, the handover of the books marked the final stage of several months of work and gave them an opportunity to receive the long-awaited publication in person.

Ahead of the concerts, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mexico plans to continue its cultural initiatives aimed at introducing local audiences to Kazakhstan. In particular, photo exhibitions dedicated to Kazakhstan are planned in each of the four cities where Dimash will perform. The initiative has already received support from local Dimash fans.
