On December 26, the city of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in southwest China, hosted the grand “2025 Sichuan New Year’s Concert” (2025四川省新年音乐会). The event, titled “A Poetic Memory of Tianfu Civilization,” brought together numerous prominent artists, including the renowned Kazakhstani musician Dimash Qudaibergen.

Dimash performed one of the most beautiful lyrical songs from his repertoire in Chinese, “The Crown.” This song is the Chinese version of the Kazakh composition “Кім екен” by composer Ulykpan Zholdasov, originally released in 2017 as the soundtrack for the mobile game Xiaomi Super GOD MOBA.

Additionally, Dimash collaborated with the celebrated Chinese singer Wei Wei on the duet “Join Hands.” This track, the main theme of the prestigious Golden Panda awards, was penned by the renowned lyricist Zhu Hai and composed by Nathan Wang, an Academy Award music judge. “Join Hands” was first performed on September 20, 2023, during the closing ceremony of the Golden Panda awards in Chengdu.
