The World Taekwondo Championships kicked off on October 24 in Wuxi, China. Dimash Qudaibergen, together with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Gennadiy Golovkin, and members of the Kazakhstan Taekwondo Federation, took part in a series of events dedicated to the championship.
Before the start of the matches, Dimash and GGG arrived at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center, where they met with members of the national team to share their energy and inspire Kazakhstan’s top athletes to achieve success.

“Dear participants, brothers and sisters! I see that some of you are very young. I wish all of you the best of luck! May the Almighty grant you strength and energy to raise the status of our country on the world stage! Let everything go with dignity!

Most importantly, as was said before: ‘Even if strength has limits, the spirit is limitless.’ So I wish you a strong spirit!

Kazakh men and women have never known defeat. Accepting defeat is called courage, and acknowledging it is also courage. But may Allah grant you the opportunity today to step onto the podium of victory. Your elder brothers stand behind you, your country stands behind you. May this day be successful and bring you good fortune,” Dimash said in his heartfelt message to the participants.
Throughout both competition days, Dimash supported his fellow countrymen from the stands, offered words of encouragement, and was among the first to greet the athletes after their matches.

Addressing Nodira Akhmedova, who won the first medal for Kazakhstan at the World Championships, Dimash said:

“Thank you for raising the status of our country on the world stage! I wish you prosperity!
We, as your older brothers, were sitting and admiring your performance. May you achieve many victories! I am confident that you will continue to bring pride and prestige to our nation!
I wish you endless inspiration – keep moving forward. You have a nation that places great hopes in you, and you have us, your elder brothers. May you have many victories ahead! Congratulations!”

It is worth noting that on October 22, during the meeting of the Executive Committee of World Taekwondo in Wuxi, Kazakhstan was officially selected as the host country of the 2027 World Taekwondo Championships.
