On December 31, a video featuring Dimash Qudaibergen was displayed on Times Square in the very heart of New York City. On New Year’s Eve, the artist appeared on one of the world’s most iconic squares, where tens of thousands of people from around the globe traditionally gather to welcome the New Year.
The initiative came from Dimash’s fans — Dears from New York and other cities across the United States. More than 30 fans joined forces to organize the screen display during the holiday season, including the night of New Year’s Eve itself.

According to the organizers, the video featuring Dimash was shown every 30 minutes and appeared on the screen 44 times over the course of December 31. Each screening lasted 30 seconds. The screen was positioned facing the famous Coca-Cola billboard, one of the most recognizable landmarks of Times Square.
Approximately 120,000 people were present in the official New Year’s Eve celebration area that day. Many spectators secured their spots eight hours or more in advance while waiting for the traditional ball drop. Against the backdrop of this massive global event, the appearance of Dimash on the screen was especially symbolic and highly visible.
