Dimash Qudaibergen Awarded the Title of "Goodwill Ambassador of Kazakhstan"

The “Goodwill Ambassadors of Kazakhstan” initiative, launched by the Head of State, aims to foster dialogue between cultures and nations while enhancing the country’s global recognition and promoting its achievements abroad. The project was inaugurated on June 6, 2024.

The second official ceremony for appointing “Goodwill Ambassadors of Kazakhstan” took place on December 9, 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Akan Rakhmetullin.

Invited to participate in the project alongside Dimash Qudaibergen were opera singer Maria Mudryak, TV host and cultural project producer Maya Bekbayeva, archaeologist and member of Kazakhstan’s National Commission for UNESCO and ICESCO Dmitry Voyakin, and Aigerim Musagazhinova, Chairperson of the Board of “Qazaq Geography” and an ethnographer.

The implementation of successful international practices for Goodwill Ambassadors in Kazakhstan, involving prominent compatriots who have excelled in the arts, sports, science, medicine, and other fields, aims to strengthen the country’s global reputation and expand cultural and humanitarian ties that serve as a bridge for peace, friendship, and international solidarity.

“Being a Goodwill Ambassador is not only a mark of prestige but also a great responsibility. Through this project, we aim to continue introducing the world to our culture, arts, scientific advancements, innovations, sports achievements, creative solutions, tourism potential, and, most importantly, the core value of the Kazakh people—peace and harmony,” noted Akan Rakhmetullin.
