From July 10 to 12, the capital of Altay will host the large-scale festival “Altay – The Golden Cradle of the Turkic World.”

On July 11, the festival’s headliner will be Kazakhstan’s People’s Artist Dimash Qudaibergen.

This unique celebration, bringing together rich history, breathtaking nature, national traditions, and contemporary culture, will feature:

• Aitys — a traditional improvised musical and poetic duel between two akyns (folk poets);
• Poetry events;
• Alaman Baiga — a traditional Kazakh long-distance horse race across natural terrain;
• National sports competitions;
• Craft and ethnocultural activities;
• A large-scale gala concert featuring renowned performers.
