On November 22, Prague hosted a solo concert by Dimash Qudaibergen. This marked the Kazakh artist’s second performance in the capital of the Czech Republic. His first show in Prague was part of the Arnau tour in 2022, and two years later, the new Stranger program once again brought fans together at the Sportovní hala FORTUNA arena.

The organizers shared that while they were involved in the 2022 concert preparations, this year the company officially served as the organizer of Dimash’s two European concerts. This role brought greater responsibility and closer collaboration with the artist and Kanat Aitbayev, the head of Dimash’s creative team, DimashAli.

“Dimash’s concerts are anything but ordinary. They are grand, complex shows, incredibly captivating. The technical setup involves extensive lighting and sound equipment, LED screens, live musicians, and ballet – it’s a real show. I would say this is the most challenging project I’ve ever worked on,” said Yan Larionov, director of Perfect Production.

Yan also spoke about his impressions of the Dears fan community:

“One remarkable aspect is that fans from all over the world gather for these concerts. Dimash has a large, close-knit fan community. Before the concert, I had the chance to briefly stop by the fans’ pre-party, and it felt like there were representatives from all over the world – even from Australia and Latin America.
Before the concert, seeing the fans outside, I felt like I was at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. Every fan club has its own symbols, costumes, and color schemes- it’s all very serious.”

Starting with the shows in Astana in September 2024, Dimash’s concert program opens with the national anthem of Kazakhstan performed by the artist. This evening in Prague was no exception, as the Kazakh anthem was followed by the anthem of the Czech Republic.

During the performance, Dimash invited a 9-year-old girl named Sofia on stage upon learning about her interest in music. The young vocalist impressed the audience by confidently performing a fragment of a Whitney Houston song. She was met with applause and received a bouquet from Dimash himself.
