As part of his creative visit to Vietnam, Dimash Qudaibergen, along with his parents Kanat and Svetlana Aitbaev, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Welcoming the distinguished guests, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Kanat Koblandyuly Tumysh, noted that the history of friendship between Kazakhstan and Vietnam dates back to the times of the Silk Road.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to Dimash for his contribution to strengthening the warm relations between Kazakhstan and Vietnam, emphasizing the important role of cultural bridges in fostering strong ties between the two nations.
Dimash also took part in a symbolic tree-planting ceremony on the embassy grounds, planting a Star Apple tree, a culturally significant fruit in Vietnam.
The star apple, also known as caimito or “Vú Sữa” in Vietnamese, is a tropical fruit named for the star-shaped pattern visible when it’s cut open. In Vietnam, the star apple symbolizes abundance and prosperity and is often given as a gift during holidays and special occasions.
