Ahead of Dimash’s birthday, his fans traditionally organize various charitable initiatives. The international fan club of Dimash Qudaibergen, “Phoenix Twitter Dears,” decided to support a hospice for children with cancer in Almaty.
“They say miracles live in children’s eyes, the laughter of angels, kind fairy tales… But behind the eyes of these children are unbearable pain, fear, and an immense desire to live,” the Dears shared emotionally.
The artist’s fans spoke about their visit to the “I’m With You” Pediatric Palliative Care Center:
“We are inspired by Dimash himself, who does so much to help others, especially children facing difficult life circumstances. This center operates through charitable donations, so for his birthday we decided to make a contribution to this hospice and provide whatever support we could for these young children.
The center is currently building a second facility in Almaty, and funding is urgently needed because medical equipment must be purchased. Right now the building is under renovation, and the next stage will be equipping it. The new facility will include wards for children, including newborns suffering from cancer and other very serious illnesses.”
