“I think you are born to change the world”. Dimash in the jury of Virtuosos V4+ talent show in Hungary

On January 26, the second episode of the international final of the project was broadcast on the Virtuosos V4+ talent contest channel. Dimash Qudaibergen took part in this show for the first time as a jury member.

The unique project, imbued with a subtle and elegant sense of beauty, developing love for music in people of all ages, gathered an international cast of participants, teachers and famous musicians from around the world at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest.

Young musicians from Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic were in the final of the project. Piano, clarinet, oboe, violin, harp and the voice of the youngest contestant Amelia Anisovic, to whom Dimash said: “I think you are born to change the world”.

The strict jury evaluated the performances of the participants in detail and professionally, competent adult musicians gave good and important advice to the young artists, guiding their further creative path. Many contestants earned individual praise from the jury members, and Malgorzata Cieszko, an oboe player from Poland, received a personal invitation from Dimash to perform at his solo concert.

The winners of the project are:

Ondřej Toman (18 years old, clarinet), from the Czech Republic
Zarina Zaradna (12 years old, harp) from Poland
Theo Gertler (15 years old, violin) from Slovakia
Amelia Anisovich (9 years old, singer), from Ukraine
Timofey Zherebtsov (20, piano), from Ukraine
Lugosi Ali (24, clarinet) from Hungary

In the finale of the show, musicians from the international jury Erika Mikloša, Dimash Qudaibergen, Placido Domingo Jr, Elina Nečaeva, classical guitarist Petar Čulić, Amelija Anisović, accompanied by the Pannonian Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor Petar Pejcik, performed Michael Jackson’s famous work “Heal the World”.

The performance of Dimash and maestro Placido Domingo with the duet of Zurga and Nadir “Au fond du Temple Saint” (“In the depths of the holy temple”) from the opera “Les pêcheurs de perles” (“The Pearl Fishers”) by Giora Bizet from the first episode of the Virtuosos V4+ finale is available on the artist’s channel.
