On May 25, Lima, Peru, hosted a unique cultural event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Dimash Qudaibergen. The meeting became a symbol of friendship and mutual understanding between Peru and Kazakhstan, gathering Peruvian fans of Dimash and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora.
The event was organized by the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Peru, headed by engineer Fredy Saravia Poicón and the municipality of Linse. The event included performances by musicians, dancers and poets from both countries, as well as demonstrations of traditional Kazakh costumes and videos about Kazakh culture.
The hall was decorated in the style of the Kazakh steppes, and numerous screens broadcast images and videos about Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage. Visitors received informational brochures to help them become more familiar with Kazakh culture.
Peruvian artists delighted guests with their masterful performance of Kazakh and Peruvian musical compositions and dances.
“The event was not only a celebration of Dimash’s birthday, but also a recognition of his contribution to promoting peace, unity and understanding between peoples. Dimash’s music, filled with universal values, has resonated in the hearts of Peruvians and continues to unite people around the world,” shared Dears from Peru.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all those who helped make the event happen and expressed their hope for continued cultural exchange between Peru and Kazakhstan. According to them, the event was an important step in spreading Kazakh culture in Peru, uniting peoples through art and music.
