Latin American fans of Dimash Qudaibergen have released an international creative project titled Omir, which brought together supporters of the artist from six countries.
The initiative involved Dears from Costa Rica, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. The fans united to perform the song “Omir” in Kazakh – a composition they say holds special meaning both for Dimash himself and for his fans around the world.
Each participant contributed to the creation of the project, combining their voices, time, and creative efforts toward a shared goal. According to the organizers, the six countries became a “single voice” as a sign of respect for the artist’s career and in celebration of his birthday.
Dimash fans from different parts of the world have previously performed his songs in Kazakh, learning pronunciation, exploring the meaning of the lyrics, and becoming familiar with Kazakhstan’s culture through music. Participants note that Dimash’s artistry inspires many international listeners to take an interest in the Kazakh language and national culture.
“Through ‘Omir,’ we wanted to express our best wishes, our deep gratitude for his extraordinary talent, as well as the unconditional love and support that the Latin American Dear community feels for Dimash,” the participants shared.
