Today, October 8, Dimash Qudaibergen will perform his first-ever solo concert in Mexico City. The show will take place at one of the world’s premier venues — the Auditorio Nacional.
Built in 1952, this iconic venue has hosted numerous major events, including the Olympic Games, Miss Universe pageants, theatrical productions, and concerts by many world-renowned artists.
In November 2007, Auditorio Nacional received the Billboard Touring Award as the Best Concert Venue with a capacity of up to 10,000 seats.
Originally, only one concert was scheduled, but all 10,000 tickets sold out within just a few hours. Due to the overwhelming demand, a second concert was added immediately after the first.
This marks the third time in Dimash’s career when a single venue proved too small to meet the incredible demand for his performances. Similar situations occurred in Moscow in 2019 and in his home city of Astana in 2024.
The second concert was announced at another, larger venue — Palacio de los Deportes — yet tickets there also sold out quickly. On October 10, Dimash will perform in front of another full house at this 20,000-seat arena.
The Palacio de los Deportes, an indoor arena often used for major exhibitions and rock or pop concerts, has hosted over 400 performances by some of the most famous Mexican and international artists throughout its history.
