On April 25, 2025, the premiere episode of the milestone 10th season of the Virtuosos project aired. For the second time, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Qudaibergen served as a jury member for the young musicians’ competition.
As the season’s flagship event – perfectly reflecting the core mission of the project, which is to foster the professional growth of emerging artists through the involvement of globally renowned musicians – a grand gala concert was broadcast.
The Virtuosos Charity Concert for the WAH Foundation took place on October 21, 2024, in Singapore. Held at the Star Performing Arts Centre, the event featured music by world-famous composers, performed under the baton of Peter Pejtsik by the Orchestra of the Music Makers – Singapore’s symphonic orchestra.
Rising stars Theo Geortler, Soma Balazs-Piri, 2harps (Valery and Evelin Greblo), Dalma Németh, Ali Lugosi, and Odysseas Finkenberg delivered impressive performances on the grand stage, interpreting classical works by Brahms, Bach, Liszt, Zimmer, and others.
Project jury members Plácido Domingo, Stjepan Hauser, and Dimash Qudaibergen also took the stage, presenting signature pieces from their personal repertoires.
A moving rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World” was performed by Dalma Németh, Valery and Evelin Greblo, Ildikó Megyimórecz, and Dimash Qudaibergen.
Dimash also joined Stjepan Hauser in a duet of “SOS d’un terrien en détresse.”
Much to the delight of the audience, Dimash performed “The Show Must Go On” from Queen’s legendary catalog, delivering his own powerful interpretation of the global hit.
A fan favorite in Dimash’s solo concerts, the Chinese-language ballad “Autumn Strong” was also part of the evening’s program. Accompanied by the orchestra, it created a uniquely emotional atmosphere.
The 10th anniversary season of Virtuosos airs on Fridays on Hungary’s DunaTV and on the official YouTube channel @Virtuosos_Talent_Show. Enjoy the show!
