Young musicians from the “Virtuosos” project have recorded an instrumental version of Dimash’s song “Omіr”

A chamber orchestra composed of outstanding participants of the “Virtuosos” competition for young musicians (where Dimash Qudaibergen served as a jury member for two consecutive years) has recorded an instrumental cover of his original song “Omіr”.

The project’s organizers shared with DimashNews how the idea came to life: bringing together talented young artists and choosing the perfect piece to perform.

Ahead of Dimash’s birthday, Dimash Dears Hungary reached out to “Virtuosos” and explained that each year, they organize a charitable initiative in honor of the singer’s birthday. This year, they wished to support the Young Virtuosos Foundation.

During the discussions, an idea emerged: rather than directing funds toward one musician, why not arrange a professional studio recording featuring a small orchestra of project participants (many of whom had been on the show and knew Dimash personally)?

Soon, Dears from various countries joined the Hungarian fan club, turning the project into an international effort. The dream became reality: 14 young virtuosos from 6 countries were invited to Hungary to record in the studio.

The arrangement and conducting were done by Apor Szüts, who had previously arranged music for the Virtuosos concert in Singapore, including Dimash’s performance of “The Show Must Go On”, which has garnered over a million views on YouTube.

The choice of the song “Omіr” was no coincidence. This deeply personal piece (both composed and written by Dimash) was a gift to fans for his 29th birthday. Now, it returns to him as a birthday gift: a heartfelt anthem of love and emotion.

Dressed in white as a symbol of purity and talent, the young musicians represented not only the Virtuosos project but also the deep love and respect for Dimash shared by fans around the world.
The video gently weaves in touching memories and moments, reminding us that Virtuosos has always been (and remains) a home for Dimash: a place where he is cherished and awaited.

The orchestra featured 14 young performers from 6 countries:

• Uroš Adamović – violin
• Anna Lilla Széchenyi – violin
• Anna Rankov – violin
• Dóra Demeter – violin
• Dylan Russell – cello
• Amelie Jade Knapp – harp
• Petar Nikolić – guitar
• Noah Hendriks – piano
• David Božić – piano
• Lukáš Grum – flute
• Bence Csákvári – recorder
• Kristina Vasić – saxophone
• Ali Lugosi – clarinet
• Tristan Bogányi – bassoon

“Omіr for Dimash, by Dimash”: this is more than just a project. It’s a symbol of how music, talent, and unwavering support can create something truly beautiful. A reminder that even the most personal songs can become universal if they come from the heart,” the Virtuosos organizers shared.

While on a creative trip in China, Dimash received this unique gift and recorded a video of his reaction upon seeing the young musicians’ rendition of “Omіr” for the first time.

“I have no words. Thank you to everyone who has joined this amazing project. Amazing surprise for me. I’m very excited.
I think I’m one of the happiest singers all of the world, because I have the Allah, I have my family (my parents, my brothers and sisters), I have my friends and my fans.
I want to say a lot of thanks for everyone, for your love and your support.
My biggest respect and love to my lovely kids. I think I can call them that, because Virtuosos is also my family.
So I’m very happy. Thank you very much!”

Dimash was clearly moved and inspired by this beautiful interpretation of his original work.
