In February, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Japan hosted a Kazakh cuisine master class, “Uly Dala Dami,” organized with the support of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev. A total of 22 people took part in the event, including representatives of Dimash Qudaibergen’s Japanese fan club.

At the invitation of the fan club’s leadership and advisor, the event was also attended by prominent Japanese cultural figures – actress Eri Watanabe, actor Hinato Tezuka, and film director Shinju Sano.

Guests were introduced to traditional Kazakh dishes – manty and baursaks. Participants prepared the dishes wearing aprons under the guidance of the organizers.

An exhibition of Kazakh national musical instruments, traditional jewelry, and costumes was also displayed at the venue. After cooking, guests had the opportunity to try on national attire and take commemorative photos in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
