Dimash performed at the Silk Road International Film Festival

On December 12, 2021, the closing ceremony of the 8th Silk Road International Film Festival was held in Fuzhou, China. At the event, Dimash performed Igor Krutoy’s composition “I miss you”.

The large-scale ceremony began at 20:15 Beijing time and was broadcast on the Chinese national TV channel CCTV6. One of the highlights of the closing of the festival was the duet of Dimash and the famous Chinese singer Chang Shilei, who performed the fascinating song “Heaven and Earth”.

The Silk Road International Film Festival was established in 2014, and has been successfully held for 7 years since then.

On December 12, about a hundred famous directors and performers from the countries and regions of the Great Silk Road appeared on the red carpet of the film festival. Among them: film director Huang Jianxin and Guan Hu, writer Liu Zhenyun, film producer Marco Muller, actress Yu Nan and Liang Jing, actor Gong Jun, Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen and so on.

At a bright and large-scale event, Dimash pleased fans not only with his performance at the closing ceremony of the film festival, but also with an interesting interview with a Chinese TV channel, in which a fragment of a song in Kazakh “Anim sen edin” (“You were my song”) by composer Shamshi Kaldayakov sounded.

In a conversation with a journalist, Dimash mentioned Chang Shilei, with whom he sang a duet at the ceremony.

Chang Shilei is a famous Chinese singer, actor, arranger, composer and music producer. Just like Dimash, the artist has been absorbed in music since early childhood. To date, he has won many awards, including such nominations as “Best Arrangement”, “Best Music Producer”, “Best Singer”.
