On February 5, thousands of fans gathered at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty to celebrate a major milestone with Dimash Qudaibergen – the global premiere of the first episode of the music reality show Voice Beyond Horizon. The project was initiated and produced by Dimash himself, marking his debut as an executive producer.

Introducing his first producing project, Dimash addressed the audience:

“Dear friends! I’m truly happy to see you all here today. Thank you for being with me at this special moment. Today is an important day – the world premiere of Voice Beyond Horizon is taking place across global platforms, and it means so much to me to share this moment, the day of the premiere, together with you.

This project is very special to me. Here, I appear not only as an artist but also as an executive producer. Behind every frame you will see today lies enormous work, sincere emotions, and a deep love for music.

Voice Beyond Horizon was created in collaboration with one of China’s largest television companies, Hunan TV. Its unique format is a journey beyond the familia – where music erases boundaries, connects cultures, reveals the traditions of different countries, and invites dialogue, friendship, and creative collaboration.

The project was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Information and Public Development, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, as well as Kazakh Tourism and the Qazaqstan TV channel. Significant contributions were also made by Kazakhstani companies including Qarmet Metallurgical Plant, Kazakhmys Holding, AltynAlmas JSC, and the Nurlan Smagulov Foundation. I sincerely thank our partners and friends for their trust and support.

I would also like to express special gratitude to the participants of Voice Beyond Horizon – the artists who immersed themselves in the culture of Kazakhstan with genuine interest and respect, lived this journey, and prepared heartfelt, powerful performances for you. The project features vocalists from China, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Italy, Malaysia, and Kyrgyzstan, and very soon you will get to know them better.

I also appear in the project as an artist, but first and foremost you will see me as the chairman of the jury, someone who listens attentively, supports, and deeply cares about each participant. Joining me on the jury are my respected colleagues from China, musicians and professionals with whom I have previously collaborated on various projects.

I would especially like to thank maestro, composer, and producer Walter Afanasieff, who traveled from Los Angeles to support us and officially launch the project in Turkestan.

Together with Dimash and his team, the audience watched the first episode of the show, fully immersed in the contestants’ performances and the breathtaking scenery of Turkestan, where the opening episodes of the project were filmed.

After the screening, the hall erupted in prolonged applause. Viewers warmly welcomed the premiere and wholeheartedly supported Dimash in his new role as executive producer of a large-scale international project.

In addition to the screening, the evening featured a short concert program. Kobyz player Olzhas Kurmanbek performed “Gladiator” and “Loreen – Tattoo.” Dombra players Temirlan Olzhabay and Ernat Nauryz presented “Alem” and “Bastau,” while Mansur Qudaibergen delighted the audience with an instrumental version of “When I’ve Got You.”

A special surprise of the evening was the exclusive preview of a new mood video by Dimash Qudaibergen for the song “Gashyqtyq.”
