In the Chilean city of Valdivia, a cultural event dedicated to the work of Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen took place. The event was part of Valdivia Week – an annual city festival celebrating the city’s founding, accompanied by a wide range of cultural, musical, and community activities that attract tens of thousands of residents and tourists. This year, the festivities brought together over 60,000 people.

The initiative was organized by fans of the artist from various cities across the country. Dears arrived in Valdivia from Calama, Santiago, Viña del Mar, Concepción, Chillán, Los Ángeles, and Temuco. Some participants traveled nearly 850 kilometers to attend the event and introduce new audiences to the work of the Kazakh performer.

Despite heavy rain during the festival days, participants continued their activities along the city’s waterfront, distributing informational materials with QR codes. This allowed visitors and tourists to access Dimash Qudaibergen’s music and learn more about his artistic work.

The musical program continued at the restaurant La Grulla, where an intimate gathering and concert were held. Singer Pablo Romero performed the pieces “All by Myself,” “Mahabat Ber Magan,” “Adagio,” and “S.O.S.”

Instrumental performances were also featured by a string ensemble consisting of Isaac Ulloa (violin), Samuel Carreño (cello), and Roberto Sánchez (piano), who presented interpretations of “S.O.S.,” “Olimpico,” and “The Love of Tired Swans.”

Special attention was given to Kazakh cultural heritage: Andrea Luengo performed two küy on the dombra, introducing listeners to the traditional sound of Kazakhstan’s national instrument.
