On June 6 at the The Voice Chile vocal show, Cuban singer Zoylin Ybarra presented a composition performed by Dimash Qudaibergen, ‘SOS d’un terrien détresse’. The song was performed in Spanish.

Zoiylin Ybarra Rodriguez is the Cuban opera singer who conquered The Voice Chile jury during the blind auditions of the new edition of the talent show.

The singer, with her amazing vocal skills, sang “Let’s drink from the joyful cups” (“Libiamo ne’ lieti calici“) from Giuseppe Verdi’s legendary opera “La Traviata,” making everyone in the jury turn around.

On June 6, Zoilyn entered the quarterfinals, presenting the song ‘SOS d’un terrien détresse’ performed by Dimash.

When asked why Zoylin chose this particular song, the singer said:

“Dimash is one of the most amazing singers in the world because of his great vocal range. Usually songs have two or three octaves, but in this composition he has notes in five octaves. It was a big challenge for me.”

The members of the jury emphasized the difficulty of performing this composition in the interpretation of Dimash, and added that in Chile there are really many fans of the music of the Kazakh performer.
