“Ikanaide” to be performed by Dimash on “NHK World Japan” TV channel

The largest song festival ABU TV 2021 will be shown on the Japanese national TV channel NHK on December 31st. During the broadcast of the concert, Dimash will perform the famous song “Ikanaide”.

ABU TV Song Festival is the largest concert of professional musicians in Asia, which is held as part of the annual General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.

This year, the festival took place online in Malaysia on November 18th.  Famous vocalists from 10 countries took part in it.  Kazakhstan at the concert was represented by the winner of the “Slavianski Bazaar” competition Yernar Sadirbayev, also known under the pseudonym Amre.

ABU TV Song Festival 2021 will be broadcast on NHK World Japan on the night of December 30-31 (0:35 Tokyo time), and will be available to a wide audience on January 22 and 23, 2022.

Dimash Kudaibergen will appear on the ABU TV Song Festival as a special guest with the song “Ikanaide”.  This legendary composition was performed for the first time in Japanese by Dimash at the Tokyo Jazz Festival on November 28, 2021.

Dimash took part previously in the festival: in 2016 in Istanbul and in 2019 in Tokyo.
