Last week, the Spanish radio program Un café con Eva on Radio Voz aired “Ave María” and “The Phantom of the Opera” performed by Dimash Qudaibergen.
The broadcast took place with the participation of the association Dimash Qudaibergen Fan Club Oficial España / La Gran Voz Kazaja, which continues to actively promote the Kazakh artist’s work in Spain. The program’s guest was journalist and Dimash fan Yolanda García.
The journalist also noted that Dimash’s music helps listeners around the world discover the culture of Kazakhstan:
“Through him, we discover other countries and cultures, and Kazakh culture truly fascinates us.”
Another important event was an interview published in the Spanish outlet La Voz de Asturias. Journalist Esther Rodríguez spoke with Dears community representative Esther Sota Eguisabal about Dimash’s artistic journey, his international success, and his global fanbase. The online version of the article was published on May 11.
In the interview, the fan shared that after discovering Dimash’s music, she began studying Kazakhstan’s culture, the country’s traditions, and the Kazakh language more deeply:
“I want to be able to communicate with Kazakh people, even at the most basic level, but above all, I want to better understand what Dimash sings about.”
According to the fan, her knowledge of the language has already helped her personally address her favorite artist during concerts in New York City and Budapest.
