In anticipation of Dimash Qudaibergen’s birthday, his fans from Astana – DQ Dears Astana, as well as the Eurasian Dimash Fan Club and Dimash Ukraine Dears EFC – have donated 290 skeins of wool yarn to the “28 Petals Astana” club.
The “28 Petals” club is an organization of knitters in Astana that has been supporting newborns with low birth weight for several years.
As is well known, such babies critically need constant warmth. However, due to their low body weight and premature birth, they are unable to regulate their body temperature on their own.
Warm sets made from 100% wool, carefully knitted by loving hands, help these little “sunshines” grow and develop, contributing to their recovery.
“May warm clothing, gentle hands, and warm hearts help more babies grow stronger and healthier as soon as possible,” the Dears wished while presenting the donation.
The campaign will continue until the birthday of their beloved artist, but even now the craftswomen of the “28 Petals Astana” club are preparing special celebratory sets for babies in Dimash’s name.
Members of the “28 Petals Astana” club shared their emotions after receiving the materials collected with love:
“Can kindness be measured in skeins of yarn? It turns out, it can.
And how symbolic it is…
When an artist brings light, sincerity, love, and goodness into the world,
his fans become the same.290 skeins = hundreds of warm stories that are just beginning.
Very soon they will become:
tiny socks, vests, hats, and blankets for premature babies. For them, warmth is a chance to live and grow stronger.Thank you for your big hearts!
For sharing warmth.
For making sure this kindness will soon become someone’s salvation.Happy birthday to our beloved artist!
And thank you for making the world kinder together with him.”
