On February 17, one of the most renowned publications, ROLLING STONE, featured an article about the Kazakh musician: “Dimash Qudaibergen Honored with DIAFA 2024 Award for Global Influence in Music.”

The article covers the Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) ceremony, which took place in Dubai in November 2024, where Kazakhstani singer Dimash Qudaibergen (@kudaibergenov.dimash) was among the honorees:

He became the first artist from Central Asia to receive this award, placing his name among an esteemed list of global leaders renowned for their influence beyond their home countries. During the ceremony, Dimash performed “Stranger,” the title song of his ongoing world tour. His performance captivated the audience, blending classical, pop, and traditional Kazakh elements. The hosts introduced him as ‘an extraordinary talent with a voice beyond limits,’ emphasizing his ability to transcend cultural and musical boundaries.
His presence at DIAFA highlights how his music resonates worldwide, breaking language and cultural barriers. Performing in more than 14 languages and selling out venues across Europe and Asia, Dimash continues to build a legacy that extends far beyond his homeland of Kazakhstan.”

ROLLING STONE is an American magazine focused on music and pop culture. It was founded in San Francisco in 1967.

In February, the American music magazine SPIN published an article titled “Dimash Qudaibergen: A Parisian Triumph of Music, Art, and Fashion.”
