Dimash Qudaibergen gives his first interview to Mexican television

On October 18, TV Azteca aired Dimash’s first-ever interview for Mexican television as part of the Hechos Sábado program.

The Kazakh artist appeared on the Mexican channel ahead of his solo concerts in Mexico City on October 8 and 10.

Introducing his guest, host Gabriel Hernández said:

“Dimash Qudaibergen is a Kazakh singer who has thrilled thousands of fans and already built bridges for his soon return. From Kazakhstan, from the other side of the world, he triumphantly arrives with the power of his voice, his charismatic charm, and a strong army of followers.”

Speaking in English, Dimash told the journalist that he began studying music professionally at the age of five and continues to learn to this day.

Recalling Dimash’s performance in Los Angeles before the boxing match between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Álvarez, the artist shared that he is a big boxing fan and knows a lot about the sport.

The report highlighted Dimash’s interest in learning about the cultures of the countries he visits. To illustrate this, Dimash quoted Mexican historian and philosopher José Vasconcelos: “Only a pure spirit knows true joy.”

Dimash also expressed deep gratitude to his fans, saying that they are the reason he continues his work, moves forward, and strives to become better than he is today.

When asked what the word perfection means to him, Dimash replied:

“Perfection means always doing your best, no matter whether you’re a musician or not, no matter what profession you represent. It’s about being kind, loving and supporting each other, and sharing only good things with the whole world.”
