“Let charity become a tradition!”

On May 24, Dears from eight countries held a charity event to help mothers whose children are being treated at the National Scientific Center for Mothers and Children in Nur-Sultan.

"Let charity become a tradition!"On May 16, 2022 the administrators of the fan page “Welcome to Kazakhstan, Dears” announced the beginning of a charity event to help mothers whose children are undergoing cancer treatment at the National Scientific Center for Mothers and Children in the capital.

"Let charity become a tradition!" The women had to leave their families, their jobs, their hometowns and move to Nur-Sultan to be with their children in the cancer wards and care for them during treatment. Hospitals do not provide food for the mothers, so their daily expenses include food, personal hygiene products and other small household items.

Currently 134 children from all regions of Kazakhstan are being treated at the Center.

"Let charity become a tradition!"Dears contacted a social worker at the hospital department who advised them to help the 15 women most in need. These are single mothers, mothers with many children, and a grandmother who is caring for her orphaned grandson.

Dears from all over the world enthusiastically supported the charity event. Thus, Dimash fans from Portugal, Iceland, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, USA, and Kazakhstan took part in it.

"Let charity become a tradition!"Together, Dears raised a total of 585,000 tenge (about 1405 USD).

On May 24, the money was handed over to the National Scientific Center of Maternity and Childhood. Each woman in need was given 39,000 tenge (about 93 USD).

“We hope that this small amount will solve their small but important daily needs. In a few days, fans of Dimash from France, Italy, Portugal, Iceland, Norway, USA and Kazakhstan collected 585,000 tenge, for which we express our gratitude. We hope that charity will become a tradition among fans of all our stars!” – shared administrators of “Welcome to Kazakhstan, Dears!”.
