The grand opening of the new cultural and business house “Abai” took place in Istanbul. The center will help in the implementation of cultural, humanitarian and business projects with Kazakhstanis living in Turkey.
The center, located in the district of Istanbul where most of the ethnic Kazakhs live, will help in the implementation of cultural, humanitarian and business projects with Kazakhstanis in Turkey.
Due to COVID-19, the opening ceremony was held online. The event discussed joint projects aimed at supporting the cultural, business and educational activities of the Kazakh community in Turkey.
“The establishment of “Abai” cultural and business houses has two goals. First, to bring together all of our compatriots living abroad, and secondly, to strengthen relations with the peoples of those countries where the cultural and business houses are opened,” said Kalybek Koblandin, Presidential Advisor of the “Otandastar Qory”.
It should be noted that “Abai” cultural and business houses have already been established in Omsk and Tashkent. By the end of the year, similar facilities are planned to open in Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
