On August 25th, the Chinese television channel Dragon TV aired a new episode of the show “我们的歌 Our Song”. In this episode, Dimash Kudaibergen performed in two duets with Chinese singers.

The singers had selected their duet partners in the previous episode of the show. In an interview with the famous host Lin Hai, Dimash shared:

“I will be performing two songs in Chinese. It’s quite challenging for me, but I will do my best for all my fans. The Chinese language is the most difficult language in the world, but one of the richest. Every Chinese song is filled with deep meaning. I am happy to perform songs in Chinese. Many famous singers will perform in this program with wonderful songs, and it is difficult for me to choose among them.”

During the partner selection, Dimash received a collaboration offer from the famous Chinese singer Gong Linna. She is a pioneer in China, having created a new, unique Chinese music style. Gong Linna transforms traditional Chinese melodies and the energy of ancient compositions into captivating songs with a modern twist.

This evening, the singers performed the song “红月亮规则 Red Moon Rules,” the soundtrack to the web anime series “Since the Red Moon Rose.” The adaptation of Heishan Laogui’s novel tells the story of the strange appearance of a red moon in the sky, marking events that led to the death of many people. To combat this destructive force, a special team of people who can control spiritual energy is formed to save the world.

The gothic style of the costumes and the staging of the performance, combined with the operatic style of the main characters’ singing, drew the audience into a mystical story of the sudden appearance of the red moon in the sky.
